Description
Purple Palms Flashpackers lodge, set in the tranquil suburb of Johanesburg where your airport transport is arranged door to door and where you can lay back and relax after that long flight.
Enjoy our bathroomed private rooms with Tv's or sit outside in our lush garden, read a book or chill by the bar lapa and splash pool.
We have an communual TV and DVD player SAT TV and a fully equiped kitchen. Rooms have safe boxes, bedding and towels are provided.
Free Airport transfers except for dorms STD.
Free ADSL internet. (keep in touch)
Free Pretoria shuttles to our PTA lodge.

We are suitable for travellers, backpackers and families alike. It's clean, friendly, spacious and a great place to recharge after your long haul flight. We are close to the international OR tambo airport but far from the noise. Our location is perfect for the jet hopper..
We are situated in a relaxed atmosphere.
We have been in the business from the start of backpacking SA for over 10 years now with our sister hostel in Pretoria, North South backpackers.
If your not up to much and want to hang out, then your welcome to jump in a car and keep the drivers busy and see a bit more of PTA and JHB.
Our private rooms consist off double en suite, twin en suite family and friend en suites and a 3 bed dorm room. Single rates are available.
Most rooms have TV's.
Our dorm Standard does not include airport shuttles.
Dorm extra does include airport shuttles. All private rooms have shuttle rates included.
We have an outside entertainment area, bar and pool.There is a pub across the road as well for those intrepid explorers.
Inside we have a book exchange and DVD library, with Digital SAT TV. All Rooms have Safe boxes and are heated. Our common room has place for games and a PC with free internet...
Shops are only a mere 200 meters away and a mall 1km. We drop off at a larger mall for free when airport transfers allow this.
We offer transport to and from places of interest.
The area is safe and clean.
The facilities are modern and the rooms have an African theme.
TOURS
We offer a wide range of tours, overlanders and safaris....car hire and day tours at recommended prices. We can give special agent discounts.
FREE transport to Pretoria to enjoy our tried and tested North South Backpackers, were you can have a great time in all the clubs and pubs in Hatfield which is situated in the university campus area.Remember, there are no buses around JHB and transport unreliable and can be expensive.....this is a real missed opportunity if not used.
AIRPORT TRANSFERS ...Drop off's take place from 06:00 to 20:00 daily. If you have a flight outside these times, we are flexable.
Pick ups take place till 20:00. If you have a late flight, please inform us so we can make arrangements.....See you soon and have a great holiday.
