Welcome all to Fernloft Backpacker Hostel!!! Fern Loft is a well maintained budget hostel.
We are strategically located along East Coast Road. This area evolved from an old traditional kampong (village) to a lively, exciting and colourful multi-national and cultural habitat for both the locals and the expatriates.
Our easten location offers severals unique advantages; We are only ten minutes drive from the airport (great savings on airport transfer). For those who enjoy the sun and the sea, we are the only hostel near the beach (15 minutes stroll). You can choose to engage in sea sports, cycling, roller blade, or simply lazing the day away at the beach
Singapore is known as a multicultural food paradise. At Fern Loft, you will find a belt of eateries nearby, offering the best of local cuisines such as Chinese, India, Malay, Peranakan and exotic seafood. Variety is among the widest and prices also also among the lowest you can find on the island
To Town is never easier - We are just 8km to the bustling downtown (Chinatown, Little India and Merlion Park, Orchard Road etc). There is a well connected public bus system that ferries you to town at incredible low prices and without fuss.
Fern Loft also enjoys close proximity to amenities such as shoppping mall, supermarket, clinics, banks, post offices, photo shops and 24 hour convenient store.
It is worth mentioning our in-house facilities, which include, free use of pantry, free breakfast,internet access and the best of all, we have an in-house Balinese pub, located just below the hostel. The Pub offers wide range of international cocktail, beer and live music. Backpackers enjoy exclusive prices all night long , so that you may party the night away without burning a hole in your pocket!
Our objective is to give you the best value posible. We hope to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable time here and still have enough cash to contiune your backpacking journey.

This is a fantastic hostel with the most friendly staff I've ever come across- it exceeds even this country's high standards. The place is very clean and well air conditioned with an unbeatable amicable atmosphere between the backpackers.
