Before 1975, It was the block of flats of American commission offices. After 1975, It became the Friendship Hotel (Huu Nghi Hotel) belonged to Danang hotel service company. In 1997, It was renovated under the name of Saigontourane Hotel which is the Joint-Venture between Saigontourist Holding Company (Saigontourist-the biggest hotel and travel state owned company in Vietnam) and Danang city.
