Description
Moonlight Backpackers is situated just outside Johannesburg and Pretoria on an 8-hectares property below the Magaliesberg Mountains in a very safe area. Why stay in a big city when you can experience the outdoors with so many things to do in the area? It is great alternative accommodation to Johannesburg and Pretoria.
The area offers a lot of things to see and do. Pilanesberg and Sun City are only one hour drive from us. The De Wildt Cheetah breeding centre is just around the corner, while in town are at least 20 pubs and restaurants. You can visit the large curio market to buy some nice African souvenirs for the people at home or for yourself and take the cable car up the mountain, or go horse riding along the shores of the lake.
Most of our clients relate to us as their home away from home and we pride ourselves in running a backpackers hostel with the quality of a guesthouse at backpacking rates.
Drop off and pick up in Hartbeespoort is for free.
