Description
Yangtze River Youth Hostel is located at the bank of the Yangtze River,ten minutes walk by the Yangtze River from Chaotianmen Port.
The business center of Chongqing, Victory Monument(Jiěfàngbēi),and HongYaDong(the greatest group of Projecting houses) is ten minutes walk away from us.
Our hostel is a typical Chinese-style architecture with sloping roof , with a courtyard and a corridor, it has 28 rooms and a LOFT bar(we think travellers alone need some friends) designed by Chinese style.Most of the rooms are facing the Yangtze River, equipped with cable TV and wireless. The dormitories are also designed with different themes ,with reading lamps and lockers for convenience.
Chongqing city was originally known for the Three Gorges, actually, Chongqing is more charming than just that,it's a mountain city almost without bicycle , the houses built on the hill form a unique architectural style of projecting house(Diaojiao Lou) - somelike the style of our hostel. In China, Chongqing is also well-known for hot girls who keep good figure by climbing everyday. I guess you know sth. about Hotpot-the most famous dish in Chongqing.Would you like to have a try? Haha,of course, if you are not afraid of hot and spicy taste ,if you have enough courage, we will give you unforgettable memory. Why?Because we do love hotpot,uhhh…
China is a fast developed,however,complex country, many problems exist in the development of tourism, for example,the large-scale project of the Three Gorges Dam has been controversial, but as the planet's most unique geographic landscape, the Three Gorges has its own unique charm,that's why so many tourists from different parts of the world come to Chongqing for that. Sometimes there might be inconvenience during the tour,we feel sorry about that, what we can do is do our best to help you to arrange the tour like helping our friends,we do hope our friends have a pleasant and unforgettable trip.
As a hostel for backpackers, the staff here need to be like a backpacker, need to be helpful,friendly,english-speaking , need to be familiar with Chongqing and places around Chongqing,and surely they are. They can even give you some tour routes that most people are not familiar with ,but really worthy of exploration,such as:

Wanna know what's the latest movie in China and in Other countries? Come and stay in our DVD Room,there are lots of good movies for you to choose.
We have a kitchen,the chef can cook Tasty Chongqing Dishes.If you are not used to the taste of Chinese food,don't worry,we also provide Western food.How about sandwich with fries as the snack? By the way, we are learning making PIZZA, if you know cooking ,you are so kind to teach us, we would be very grateful and it's a good return to other travelers. Of course, we suggest you try the flavor of the local Chinese food ,you know the chinese saying- will do as the Romans do, it will be a better travel experience.

FROM THE AIRPORT: take the airport shuttle Shangqingsi, the last stop（上清寺）. Then take a taxi to Haikeyingzhou (海客瀛州), and walk for 200 meters, keeping the Yantzte river at your left, passing the new Paradise Club.
FROM NORTH TRAIN STATION: take 704 or 141 bus to Chaotianmen bus station.
FROM CHONGQING TRAIN STATION: take 503 bus to Chaotianmen bus station.
FROM CHAOTIANMEN BUS STATION: walk for 10 minutes along the YangtzeRiver to No .80, keeping the Yantzte river at your left.
