If you find very 'cheap' prices for carnival or NYE there is a problem on HW system. Please do not book this, because your booking will be cancelled.
The best location for the best price...next door to the metro (30 meters), in the block of the beach, 1 metro station from Copacabana, 1 block from the Mall, plenty of reasonably priced tours. The middle of everything! 17 showers for 70 beds!!!! No lines! And you do not cross all over the hostel to reach them. All private rooms and the major part of the dorms (except the budget ones) with air conditioning (highly recommend at summer!), you can choose among them at the time of your booking. Everything working inside the hostel from computers to washing machine. Also, you will not be inside a slum hostel (everything that you can read on the internet 'Favela = slum') so here is very safe, we promisse that! A professional staff made of young people !! You book a type of room, you get it or if we do not have it for some reason we make an upgrade for you without extra charges!!! Our bar shut at the last client and not 10pm like many others! Ah... we donīt need to say but THERE IS NO BED BUGS HERE, nor ants on your breakfast because we do care about matress/sheets/food and think keep the hostel clean is our aim and for sure NO MOSQUITOS bitting you! And the best advice..you will not be ripped off like in Ipanema or Copacabana and you will be just a step away from there.

Perfect for girls travelling alone. But look, guys are very welcomed here as well, mainly the handsome one's. oopīs... we are talking about security!!!
PRICE: We have EXCELLENT prices from dorms to single or doubles. See that we are the most popular hostel in Rio de Janeiro! ALL our bunks are double deckers with very CONFORTABLE mattresses. Do not be afraid to book at the large dorm. It's a quiet & spacious place on the 2nd floor plenty of toilets & showers. No worries!
CLEANLINESS: What is a good hostel without a daily housekeeping? Our maid also prepares delicious cakes for breakfast! If you wish something special, she can do for you... breakfast starts at 8:00h not 9:30 like many others. You can enjoy the day earlier.
LOCATION: buses in front, beside and in the back for simply EVERYWHERE in Rio de Janeiro. Next door to the subway (metro/tube). RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERYTHING.

Doubts? Check what clients say about hostels in Botafogo. The area is not a big gringo-scamming machine like Copa/Ipa!
FUN if you like parties... this is the beginning. We have a bar with sound equipment that you can plug your I-pod. You can even manage the party or you can be our DJ... who knows? A pool table is available to use to free. This area is free to make the party you wish! Thanks God... itīs Friday night. Rioīs best nightlife is at Lapa. Everybody inside goes to this place
STAFF: This is hard to explain. We have, tall, short, fat, thin, blond, brunette... just joking...
And... we have Moe (a kind of young Mom) which usually take care of you if you get sick, burned or if you want to eat some pop corn during the films sessions, or if you feel cold ask for some tea, or just to put a blanket when you come back late evening and sleep at the sofa after some beers.
Unfortunately we do not speak Russian, Georgian, Korean, but English, Deustch, French, Italian, Spanish & and of course Portuguese, we do. We are learning mandarin!!! We also provide Portuguese classes for a reasonable price.
