Asylum Cairns is a family run hostel and offers a top friendly service to its guests and was voted the friendliest hostel in Australia by its guests. It has also received an award from the Cairns Tourism Association for outstanding customer service.
Join the Asylum family and enjoy the awesome atmosphere created by our friendly helpful staff and the inmates. Experience a Cairns institution with your free evening meal. Come join our Mad Monday Party or Friday evening all you can eat BBQ and Pizza nights to get to know your fellow inmates and to have a fabulous time. There are also Movie Nights and Karaoke Nights.
It provides good value for money with free pick ups and drop offs(for more than one night stay), free internet use, free coffee/tea all day, free breakfast every day, 5 free hot evening meals every day except on Fridays when you can enjoy the famous all you can eat BBQ/pizzas for only AUD4 and Mondays when a meal is included in the party.
Asylum Cairns has all the facilities of a good standard hostel including a communal kitchen, 24hr cable TV, large movie screen with surround sound, BBC radio 1, swimming pool, table tennis, pool table and a large garden for you to relax in.
