The well run Maly Hotel is located in Phonsavan town in the Xiengkhouang province Laos. It offers 24 comfortable rooms with private toilets and hot showers from solar cells and electric-water heater.
There is a cosy restaurant downstairs serving tasty, traditional dishes from Laos, as well as breakfast. Sivone, the owner's wife, is an excellent chef and even teaches guests how to cook typical food from Laos.
Sousath, the owner, speaks good English, French, German, Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai and Lao and can arrange tours to the Plain of Jars, indigenous villages, the Tham Piu Cave, the old capital of Xiengkhouang, tours along the Hochiminh trail and much more.
