Described by a guest as the 'Hilton of hostelsEthe bridges hostel is well worth a visit with en-suite luxury rooms, a well-equipped kitchen and restaurant on site, together with a laundry, drying room, large TV lounge, quiet room and dining room, it is not the typical youth hostel. The hostel provides a range of accommodation with 2, 4, or 6 beds.
This modern youth hostel is situated on the top two floors of the Clinton Centre, which is a state of the art facility and is the first public building in Ireland to use both photovoltaic cells and solar panels as part of its energy efficiency system. The centre also consists of conference facility which can accommodate up to 150 persons and is available for seminars or workshops and art gallery on the ground floor which hosts both local and national art exhibitions.
The hostel is within a short walking distance from anywhere in the town. It was specifically designed for the purpose and is therefore well furnished, comfortable and has a wide range of facilities that you would expect from a new hostel.
