We regret that due to the significant cost increase in Fairbanks, especially oil and utilities, this site reflects a rate increase starting June 2008.
Billie's Backpackers hostel is a casual, clean comfortable home-style hostel with a very friendly atmosphere. Open Year Round!
Great Location near the Main Campus - University of Alaska (4 miles from Fairbanks City Center.

Two PUGS - Kubhala and Frankie
We have several room types, some private, and some dorms. There are generally no more than 4 persons to a room.
NOTE: we make every effort to seperate the sexes, HOWEVER in the busy summer months the arrangement may be CO-ED.
There are daily shuttles from the hostel to Denali, Anchorage, Valdez, Dawson City, Whitehorse and other locations.
Billie's Backpacker Hostel is a great place to begin your adventure in interior Alaska and you won't find a place with a more comfortable friendly atmosphere.
Please Note: We are a small hostel, with no Credit processing capability at this time. You may use credit to make a reservation (NON-Refundable deposit), but will need cash for the balance upon arrival.
