These 3 charming old country villas are beautifully positioned in unspoilt countryside, surrounded by mountains and acres of olive groves, on the edge of the tiny village of Filippou.
These neighbouring stone houses have been lovingly restored and somehow without losing their ethnic character they provide a good degree of modern comfort. They are traditionally furnished in wood and stone, each with an individual look. The authentic details include old stone walls, beamed ceilings, traditional furnishings, and lots of nice decorative touches. Country lovers and those who like an authentic style will love this setting. The nearest shops and taverns are within easy reach, some 2km away while the long sandy beach of Georgioupolis is 10 km away.
The traditional stone houses are refreshingly cool during the long hot summer and warm in winter. Each house is suitable for up to 6 guests. They have two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living room with fire place, private facilities with shower and parking.
A car is essential as the small town of Vrisses is 3km away and there you will find all that you need, even good traditional taverns. The villas are only 10 minutes drive to the long sandy beach where you can enjoy horse riding or water sport activities. Other options are trips to the south, the gorge of Imbros, Aradena and the beach of Frankokastello is only 1 hour away.
Cleaning and change of linen is once a week.

Country House Pananos:
Also set behind stone walls this old villa is suitable for 4-6 people. There is an old stone patio charmingly smothered in overgrown vines and trees, with stone seating and an outside shower in front of the entrance area. The living area has a sleeping gallery with a double mattress for children, leading to a fully equipped split-level kitchen. From here there is a large living/dining room with little stone niches, a fireplace, old piano and various sofas. A few modern steps lead up to an open living area, with bookcases, some seating and a sofa bed. On the lowest level is a pretty bedroom with an antique cast iron double bed. Outside the house is another traditionally furnished bedroom with a single bed and a sun terrace. Quaintly the shower/wc is set nearby outside in a detached little round stone building.
Country House Faragi:
This 2 storey house is suitable for 6 people, and is set above a small gorge from where the house takes its name. It is surrounded by a delightful garden with stone seating and a huge mulberry tree. On the ground floor are two traditional cozy bedrooms with stone walls and wooden beamed ceilings, one with an antique double bed and one with twin beds. There is also a large living room with wooden beamed ceiling, fireplace, dining table, sofa bed, as well as shower/wc, and a small utility room with a washing machine. From the fully equipped kitchen one can reach the sun terrace. An open wooden staircase leads to the bedroom on the first floor with a double bed. A few steps higher and there is a large sun terrace with patio furniture and delightful views of the surrounding area.
Vouros (for 4 - 6): 3 bedrooms (1 double; sleeping gallery with double bed; children's sleeping platform atop wine barrels), 2 bathrooms (1 in adjacent bath house, another entered from outside), living room with fireplace and steps to the sleeping gallery, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine.
!!! In case you would like to stay at this place with more people than both houses can accommodate, there is an other modern house closed by, so that in total up to 18 guests can stay in this 3 houses closed toanother !!!
