Our aim is to provide comfortable, free, and relaxed family atmosphere to our guests. Full equipped facilities bring everything you need for a great short or long stay in Shanghai. (we require minimum 3 nights stay. Please do not book our hostel if you stay less than 3 nights)
Our hostel for people sharing apartments in Shanghai. each apartment is about 155sqm, hosting up to 6 people. Shared room, private room, each coming with a bathroom. Living room, kitchen, balcony and wide passage. All rooms have windows, the sunshine lights throughout all rooms during the whole year!

Backpacker Homestay is located in Jing'an district, the most centred and lively area of Shanghai. Just 2 minutes walk to Jade Buddha Temple. It's also at the heart of the bus and underground networks making it easy to travel around to all areas of the city. We're within easy reach of the theatre, museum district and central shopping areas.
Rooms are available from 14:00hrs on the day of your arrival. You can check in at any time to store bags. Once you check in, you will get the key of the apartment with deposit. Then you could arrange your timetable as if you are at home. Check-out Time: 12:00hrs. If you don't come on time, we'll just keep the room 3-4 hours for you. After that, we don't guarantee room available. Thanks for your cooperation.
Our staff is Chinese, English and French speaking. You could contact us if you need to arrange a long term stay.
Credit card is not acceptable, cash payment only.
