Description

Asukaso is a traditional Japanese-style inn located in the heart of Nara city with easy access to the famous Nara Park where you can meet the Japanese deer. It is about 10 minutes walk from Nara Station, Kintetsu Line. Located in a convenient but in a quiet area, it is an ideal location to stroll the ancient capital town Nara. The famous Kofukuji temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site along with other sites in Nara, can also be accessed easily.
We have both Japanese-style rooms with tatami mats and western-style rooms. All of the rooms have their own private bath and toilet. The western-style rooms, having a Japanese atmosphere, were renewed in 2007.

Room amenities include a towel, toothbrush, yukata (cotton kimono), shampoo, soap, razor, and a shower cap.

Facilities include baths, restaurant, banquet room, karaoke room, non-smoking room as well as a car parking lot(chargeable).

For dinner, delicious, seasonal Japanese kaiseki dishes are served in the Japanese-style guest rooms upon request. Japanese cuisine using the local food can also be enjoyed at the modern Japanese-style restaurant which is in front of the beautiful Japanese garden.

The baths were renewed in 2005. Kofukuji temple's five-story pagoda can be seen while soaking in the new open-air bath. The five-story pagoda is especially beautiful when it's illuminated during the night time.
