Description
HostelTrail Guesthouse is a brand new backpackers hostel right in the centre of Popayan. Not only does it function as the base for the online guide Hosteltrail.com but it also offers all the facilities a backpacker could want including dorm and private room accommodation, internet access and WiFi, Laundry service, self-catering kitchen with free coffee all day and plenty of tourist information.
The HostelTrail guesthouse has a total of 19 beds, including a 6-bed ensuite dorm room with balconies overlooking the colonial street as well as single, double and twin rooms. All are decorated with photography from around South America.
As this is also the base for HostelTrail.com, there's always plenty of information about places to see and things to do through Colombia and across South America.

Semana Santa/ Easter Week
As you may have heard, Popayan hosts the second largest Easter Celebrations in the world with processions, exhibitions, performances, concerts, street parades and generally lots to do!
The first week begins with the traditional processions in the evenings with local events being held during the day. The second week is focussed more on the younger generation with children's parades and exhibitions.
As this is a very busy time of year, we can only accept reservations with advanced payment for the first night and our prices will increase slightly for this period.
Prices start at 18,000 Pesos for dorm beds. Private Rooms: 50,000 Pesos.
