'We are not the best but try to get there!'
if you want to stay in old town, in a over century old house, and quite even in the day time, Athena is the old place, that you would prefer. This over a century-old, 2-storey Ottoman house is located next to Bergama (Gallinos) river (just next to the Roman Bridge) in the middle of the interesting old town, very central but quiet street of historical Pergamon. An open terrace offers a breathtaking view of the Acropolis. Your best base to explore Bergama! It is easy walk up to Acropolis and red Basilica is only a short stroll away also.
Your best base to explore Bergama - Red Basilica (stone throw away from the pension), the Sanctuary of Asclepeion (ancient medical center) and the Ancient City of Pergamon (you could see a view from their rooms).

.........near the foot of the acropolis, the Athena has eight characterful rooms arounda pretty courtyard..........room 3 has distand view of the acropolis, as does the roof terrace.
-Wireless internet available in every square meter of Athena Pension. The connection is at a 'very good' to 'excellent' level.
-Breakfast is not included but available on request. We strongly recommend our inexpensive breakfast because it is one of the highlights of the house.
-Hot water is available 24 hours a day!
-You are free to use our kitchen.. It has all that you need to prepare a delicious meal. Shops and markets are nearby. No washing up needed! We have a dish washer.
-You are free to get your any drinks from local shops to make you feel more in real Turkiye(learn some turkish:-) and we all feel more happy this way as well, Staying in Athena pension is like your home and we mean it!
