Description
As newly opened in June 2007, we located at the heart of the Shangri-la Old Town. Only takes 3 mins walk from the car park at the entrance. Just besides the famous Old Town Square.
A panoramic view of the city and be enjoyed from our terrace and all of the second floor rooms. You can sit yourself in the courtyard, hearing the birds singing, enjoying the deep blue sky, and talking about the 1300 year old history of this ancient tibetan town.
The guesthouse was designed and decorated in traditional tibetan style, which constructed of old wood and characteristic red stone that is only to be quarried in Shangri-la. We offer the best room facilities with moderate price. The furnitures are all attractively designed and handmade in old tibetan style.
We provide accomodations for various requirements. We have different type of private rooms: Private double bed room, private twin beds room, luxury suite room). Our private rooms are equipped with all mod cons such as satelite TV, free WI-FI access, electric kettle, private shower facilities etc. We also provides 3 beds Dorm and 6 beds Dorm. (Please kindly note that free pick up service and breakfast are only avaliable for private room customers)
We have a self-catering kitchen at your disposal. You can pick absolutely fresh vegetables from our own vegetable plot. If you are interested, our experienced cook will provide you the best local food in the town. We also have a café with varied cuisine and professional fresh ground coffee for your choice.
(Please kindly note that the USD to CNY exchange rate has been changed from 1：7.8 to 1：6.8 in the past one year. But we have been using a fixed currency exchange rate for our room rates since operation. To avoid any misunderstanding, please kindly see below for our CNY rates:
