Description
SunnyLake hostel thanks all its visitors for the wonderful 2007 season! We welcome everyone for the 2008 season to a newly renovated SunnyLake hostel. We are currently renovating everything (floors, walls, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms...everything!) while keeping the hostel atmosphere. We hope to be fully operational 1.6.2008, but we will have a few rooms and the kitchen available 28.5.2008. The high rating we received during our first season on HostelWorld (90%) have motivated us to try even harder in 2008. We will also increase the amount of berths to 26. The nightly boat-trips and barbecue-evenings we organized in 2007 will return in 2008.In 2008 we will also organize our own events and events with the best Macedonian travel companies, including diving- and water-scooter fun trips. Additionally we will rent bicycles for 6 € / day. In our hostel you will find board games, karaoke equipment and more than 100 different DVD movies to make sure you will never be bored, even on extremely rare rainy days.In our shop we sell cheap beer to prevent you from getting too thirsty! Our hostel features a guest-kitchen, where you can prepare you own meals, a laundry with washing machine and dryer, a beer-garden, a TV-room and a common terrace on the third floor with views of lake Ohrid.The owner of the hostel is a young Scandinavian who can always give you information on what's going on in Ohrid during the day and in the night. Every customer is free to join our bar-tour that we will orgaize in 2008. We also have the latest information on all sorts of events in Ohrid, including schedules for theatre and concerts. During the summer-season (July 1 - September 15) our upper age-limmit is 50 years. We hope everybody will respect that.Our common beer-garden, TV-room and terraces are excellent places to meet other travellers and share experiences while having a couple of cold ones.... or more! We will see you in easygoing SunnyLake hostel in 2008!
We are located withing the narrow streets of Old Town and it can be difficult to find us the first time you stay whit us (especially after dusk). So please print our map and look at our DIRECTION section.
