Servus und Willkommen at CheapCheap Homestay!
Well, maybe we are not a regular hostel. It's rather a 'micro hostel' or family homestay. Except that we are not a regular family either, but young people living together. We are friendly people who like friendly guests!
Since every hostel claims to be located at the best spot in town, here is our version of this very subjective matter:
* We don't live in walking distance to the train stations, but there is not much to see at the train station either.
* The Prater park where with the stadium is not too far away.
* From our livingroom you can see the Stephansdom which means the historic centre is in walking distance.
* Our guests and us share the cozy living room and fully equipped kitchen.
* We live next to the Danube Channel, which is really nice to walk along, especially in summertime when the bars are open. The Swiss Fan Base at Strandbar Hermann and other public viewing places for the EURO 08 are there, too.
* Of course our favourite clubs are nearby: Flex, Fluc and Badeschiff
* speaking of Badeschiff: it is not only an awesome party location but also a public swimmingpool floating on the Danube Channel (open till midnight)
Vienna is not so big at all, therefore it is great to explore the city by bike. We have a very comfortable and cheap opportunity to rent bikes in Vienna: citybikes. All around the city, there are a lot of stations to lend and return a bike. But not enough, every first hour is free of charge. There are two stations very close to our apartement.
And here are some last formalities:
* we don't accept credit cards, but there is a bank machine just outside our door
* we have an agelimit of 35 years.
