Description
Beautiful and cosy bed and breafast accommodation set in the foot of the Rila Mountains, in the village of Dospei.We are only 1 km from the town of Samokov and 7 km from the ski resort of Borovets.
Here at the Rila Lodge we provide clean, comfortable and affordable B&B accommodation all year round.We have a lovely cosy living room, three rooms which sleeps 8-10 all with their own private wet rooms. TV/dvd facilities in all rooms.
The bedrooms are fresh and bright, all with their own allocated wet rooms, tv and dvd player, mini bar and complimentary tea & coffee facilities. We have a lovely, bright and airy dining room for you to enjoy your breakfast each morning before you start your day.
Then there is our cosy living room with a traditional wood burning stove and comfortable sofas and chairs, all ready to welcome you back to relax after a pleasant day out.
On arrival our guests rooms will be provided with a complimentary bottle of fine Bulgarian wine to help settle you in on your first nights stay with us.
Although we are a b&b, we can provide evening meals upon request and to be ordered in advance at a nominal cost of £4.50 per adult, £3.50 per child. A complimentary bottle of wine will be provided with your meal.
Rila lodge is surrounded by beautiful countryside and wonderful panoramic views and we pride ourselves on the level of services that we offer all year round to make our guests feel comfortable during thier stay with us.The majestic Rila Mountains that surround us here at the Rila Lodge, offers many different types of activities for you all to enjoy.
In the Winter months there is skiing at the famous resort of Borovets.
This is the largest of the resorts for skiers in Bulgaria and caters for all levels, but if you prefer it a little quieter then there is the smaller ski resort of Malyovitsa close by too. We offer a free transport service to Borovets at 9.30 a.m. in the morning and collection at 5.30 p.m. Should you choose not to use this service then there is always of course the local taxis at very reasonable rates to travel the short journey back to the house.
In the Spring, Summer & Autumn months, the Rila Mountains really comes into its own, there are so many different types of activities and sights for you to experience and enjoy such as…

· Cycling
· Camping
· Horse riding
· Rock climbing
· Hiking the Rila's
· Boating on the Iskar lake
· Spa town (Belchin Banya)
· Great fishing and sights at the 7 lakes
· Golf (coming soon to the Dolna Banya, Ihtiman & Samokov areas)
· Excursions to historical places such as the 10th century Rila Monastery
· Hikes through the Rila National Park (the largest national park in Bulgaria)
