This young hotel stands within a 90 years old house.situated in the heart of the old town of Berne, directly beside the river Aare. Within close range of the bear-pits and 10 minutes walking distance from the main train station. The newly renovated rooms are adapted to one's personal requirements: From 6 bed dormitories to a double room with shower and toilet. Included in the price, which starts at SFr. 30.- is the soothing sound of the river, all this is good news for the backpacker, railroader and globe-trotter, young families, cultural-minded and the individual are able to choose their own standard comfort. TV or a feathered duvet and pillow, hairdryers and many other amenities are available on request, also an internet-connection. World cultures meet each other in the bar, and international games are played on our flipper boxes!!

Please note from Mondays - Saturdays,the latest possible check-in time is 11.00pm (normal check-in time is until 6.00pm in the afternoon), if you are arriving later than that you must phone us in advance.

Please note that on Sundays our hotel-reception and the restaurant is open until 18.00 pm. Check in is possible until 17.30
