1. A&O Hostel Hamburg
A&O Hostel Hamburg can be found near the Hamburger Hauptbahnhof (main station). Near the central vicinity of "Binnenalster", city centre and historic "Speicherstadt" our hostel is your perfect starting point for adventures in Hamburg.
2. Facilities A&O Hostel Hamburg has to offer:
- 24hr reception (Check In from 4.00pm and Check Out at 10.00am Mon- Fri Check Out at 11.00am Sat & Sun).
- Friendly and multilingual staff.
- Daily room cleaning.
- Exclusively non smoking rooms.
- Credit card acceptance Visa and Mastercard (+2.50 € system charge), EC/Maestro.
- Internet terminals (1 €/ 20min).
- WiFi (5 €/ 24hr) in all rooms and throughout the hostel.

3. LOCATION
The house has both hotel and hostel rooms, which are located on separate floors. For individual and business travellers we have single and double rooms available. All rooms are light and have modern furnishings they are each equipped with a shower, WC and television. Our family rooms are a good choice for parents with two children.
The hostel offers good deals on bigger multi- bed rooms, good value and affordable accommodation for big groups. At reception you will find WiFi internet access or internet terminals and a souvenir shop. We have friendly and competent staff that are always happy to help you with planning mini excursions or booking theatre tickets.
4. FUN
In our spacious and comfortable Premiere Sportsbar you can loose track of time.
Enjoy a cool beer or a cocktail, play a game of pool or darts. We also have some video games for our guests and provide you with the possibility of renting one of our in- house bicycles so you can explore Hamburg.

The Musical-Metropolis Hamburg is currently showing the cult- classic "Dirty Dancing", "The Lion King", "I Was Never in New York" and from October 2008 Disney's "Tarzan".
- Hamburg Dungeon
The Hamburg Dungeon is the eerie yet fun history experience in "Hamburgs Speicherstadt" - exciting and entertaining.
- Miniature Wonderland, Hamburg- the biggest Model Railway in the World:
Visit the Miniature Wonderland with 200.000 mini inhabitants, marvel at the 900 trains, 4000 moving cars and boats, as well as an ocean of lights which has been created with over 300.000 individual lights.
6. Sightseeing & Nightlife (book at reception)
- A Tour of the Town.
Discover Hamburg's beautiful sights with a tour on a Red Double- Decker bus, the Hamburger Hummelbahn.
- Tour of the Harbour.
During a tour of the harbour hear about Hamburg, the Michel (St. Michaelis Church) or the Reeperbahn (red light district): one hour harbour tour to the Schwimmdocks (floating docks) and Containerlagen (container layer) at the Hamburger Habour.
- Alster- Round Trip.
For a panoramic view experience the church spires, the lovely Alsterpark, villas and sail boats from the alluring Alster. The Alster steamer takes you on a course along the Binnen- and Außenalster basins, during the boat trip you are told the history of Hamburg and its people. Duration approx. 50 min.

9. Our Security.
We have security in our hostel at night to keep the house peaceful, insuring you have an undisturbed sleep.
10. Some General Information.
- Ladies, in the event that you are an individual traveller and have booked a space in a multi- bed dorm we would like to inform you that we also offer 'Shared Women Dorms' if you would prefer.
- The hostel's multi- bed rooms require full payment in advance and there is a deposit when renting bed linen (3 €) and hand towels (1 €). Breakfast is not included when you have booked a space in a multi- bed room (6 €). In our single and double bed rooms breakfast, bed linen and hand towels are inclusive.
- In all A&O Hotels and Hostels pets are allowed at an extra 5 € charge per night only in single and double bed rooms, please inquire beforehand.
- Conference rooms and technical appliances are available, please inquire beforehand.
CHECK IN 4 p.m.
Reserved rooms shall be available for occupancy from 4 p.m. on the agreed day of the client's arrival. The client shall not be entitled to occupy the room(s) earlier than this.
CHECK OUT 10 a.m. (11 a.m. at the weekend)
On the agreed day of departure the client must vacate the room by 10 a.m. at the latest. If the client does not vacate the room by this time we shall be entitled to charge 50% of the full room rate as published in the price list until 6 p.m. for reasons of non-contractual occupation, and if the client vacates the room after 6 p.m. 100% of the full room rate will be charged. This shall not constitute any contractual claims on the part of the client.
CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
- Until two days prior to arrival before 6 o'clock pm (local time at hotel/hostel) free of charge. In case of cancellation after this period a cancellation fee of 100% of the first night will be charged. In a case of non-arrival 100% of booking costs will be charged. It's the same for short-term bookings, within two days before arrival.
For groups from 10 people we have special cancellation and payment conditions. Our reservation department will contact you!!!

- from 55 days to 5 days prior to arrival date 50% of the agreed total price
- from 4 to 2 days prior to arrival date 75% of the agreed total price
- one day prior to arrival date 90% of the agreed total price
We will debit 50% of the agreed total price 8 weeks or less than 8 weeks before arrival from your credit card.
- Any discounts or special offers booked through online booking engines cannot be cancelled.
