Suzhou Youth Hostel is a member of Hostelling International!
The brand new Suzhou Youth Hostel, setup by backpackers for backpackers, is located in the heart of the old city at 178 Xiangwang Lane, just off the famous Shiquan Street.
This hostel, with friendly English speaking staff, features:
-Cheap, clean and comfortable rooms, all with
-Air Conditioning
-Free Internet Access
-Cozy lounge
-Big TV showing DVD's nightly

This hostel is within walking distance of all of Suzhou's best known attractions:
*Shiquan Road: 2 minute walk
Good shopping, Great Restaurants with cheap western and Chinese food, Lively bars (Western/Chinese) and many Teahouses
*Gardens
The Master-of-Nets Garden is just an 8 minute walk. Other famous gardens such as The Humble Administrator's Garden and The Lingering Garden can be reached by a short bike ride, or a taxi costs 12 Yuan.
*Suzhou University: 8 minute walk
200 years of history, Interesting architecture and Sports facilities (Basketball courts, football pitches etc.)
*Guanqian St. (The famous shopping area) is a 5-minute taxi ride away
Ideally suited for backpackers or travellers with a limited budget. We have a choice of accommodation to suit your pocket. We have affordable 2,3,4,6 and 8 bed dorms and for a little more you can stay in our luxury single and double rooms, which have TV.
If you arrive at the Railway Station or the North Bus Station, a taxi to the hostel should cost no more than 16 Yuan. If you arrive at the South Bus Station a taxi will only cost about 10 Yuan. You can print out the map provided or the following Chinese text:
