Description
The only Backpackers located in the heart of Historic Grahamstown, where there arev many local attractions & activities. We are a short stroll to the Beaches, Goldmines, Walks, Butterfly Farm, Squash/tennis club, Miniature Railway, Museums, Art Galleries, Saturday/Sunday flea markets, Pubs. Enjoy the family run atmosphere in our 140 year old history filled building.
We offer spacious rooms and a sun-drenched garden with BBQ & hammocks.
4x4 Rental Cars onsite - modern Toyota RAV4's for rent so you can explore all of the Coromandel including the gravel roads. Ask us for details.
You can catch our Shuttle for "Kauranga Valley Walk' from the hostel.
The Valley is home to 21 different walks, from 1 hour to overnight, through beautiful regenerated native bush, crystal clear streams, across swing bridges, pass by water falls. The Pinnacles being the ultimate day trek or over-night stay in an 80 person hut. Reach the highest accessible point in the Coromandel for awesome views which take your breath away and become the highlight of your NZ experience.
We offer many free facilities including baggage storage, tea/coffee, videos, bikes. Experience Coromandel with us.
NOTE: Prices quoted for members of HI, YHA & BBH memebrs only. A $3 per person surchearge is required at check in for non-members.
