A small cosy Hostel set in sunny spacious grounds, YHA Wanaka is the quiet, relaxed accommodation choice for travellers to the Southern Lakes region.
A warm fire in winter, heated rooms, secure bike, gear and ski storage, drying room, even freshly grown herbs. Travel booking service available for numerous activities and travel.
You can book travel activities through the Hostel travel desk including – skydiving, kayaking, rock climbing, mountaineering, horse trekking, fishing and Puzzling World. New Zealand's best ski fields and Mt Aspiring National Park are only 40 minutes drive away.
YHA New Zealand is a non-profit membership organisation. Non-members pay an additional NZ $3 per person per night fee upon check-in. Memberships can be purchased online or at the hostel.
