Splashy Fen 2007: Ticket Winners

Splashy Fen is South Africa’s longest-running music festival and 2007 sees a great selection of the country’s top artists, such as The Parlotones, Bed On Bricks, Chris Chameleon, Rory Eliot and Sitter (the list goes on).

Held on the Splashy Fen Farm (about 2 hours drive from Durban), the hugely popular weekend festival kicks off on Thursday 5 April 2007, rolling all the way through the Easter Weekend to Monday 9 April 2007.

The Oppikoppi ‘More Than Somewhat’ Easter Festival Ticket Giveaway

We’re giving away tickets to another one of South Africa’s favourite weekend music festivals: the Oppikoppi ‘More Than Somewhat’ Easter Festival.

Held over Easter Weekend (6-8 April 2007) in Pretoria the festival features original rock bands (no pop, no cover bands – only the real deal) like the Parlotones, The Kick, Chris Letcher and Irish guests, the Hothouse Flowers (to name but a few).

If you’re in South Africa and looking for a good party, this is definitely one of the very best.

Tickets would normally set you back R300 a piece (about $42 USD), but we’re giving away two single tickets to the first two correct entries drawn in our ‘Oppikoppi Giveaway Competition’

To enter, all you have to do is tell us which international band is headlining the festival (hint: them Irish folks we mentioned earlier could well be the ones… )

Splashy Fen, South Africa’s longest-running music festival, is coming up this April, and we’re giving away tickets!

Featuring a great selection of the country’s top artists, such as The Parlotones, Bed On Bricks, Chris Chameleon, Rory Eliot and Sitter (the list goes on), the popular weekend festival kicks off on Thursday 5 April, rolling all the way through the Easter Weekend to Monday 9 April.

Other attractions range from river rafting, hiking, horseback trails and paintball to drumming circles and workshops, an extensive arts and crafts market, a wide assortment of food stalls and the ever-popular African Rainbow Village with its complementary therapists.

The popular festival is held on the Splashy Fen Farm, about 2 hours drive from Durban, in Kwa Zulu Natal.
