Well, even if, like me, you think Valentine’s Day is a load of ingeniously marketed bollocks, you can at least take advantage of the flurry of travel specials that are likely to hit the wires.

The first to come to our attention so far is from Copenhagen-based Sterling.dk. The European budget airline is offering a 2-for-1 sale on selected seats on all its routes.

The offer is valid for a minimum of 2 adults, and is for travel until 31 May 2008. Book by 14 February 2008.
