Ryan Air 2-for-1 Sale: Buy One Flight, Get The Second Free!
RyanAir seems to be going all out this month. Not only are they running a general sale on flights (from £5.00 one way, including taxes), if you book your flight before Monday 14 January, you’ll qualify for a second flight, free of charge.
It just seems too good to be true, doesn’t it?
Well, the catch is that you can’t book both flights together – you first have to complete your initial booking, whereafter you’ll be provided with a 6-digit code needed for claiming the second, free, flight here.
And, seeing as the free flights are limited to certain routes it’s quite possible you won’t get a free flight for the same plane, so using it for two people probably isn’t going to work.
In the end, it’s not going to be entirely free, either, because although general taxes and insurance will not be charged for, “Specifically excluded from this promotion are optional fees including but not limited to checked bag, airport check-in or priority boarding fees”.
But, those fees are minimal, in the grand scheme of things, and if you’ve got flexibility on your side you might just be able to use the second flight for another trip, as long as it’s between 22nd January and 29th February 2008.
