Ski Season Starts Early: Good Deals For Backpackers With Snowtrip

November 28th, 2007 by The Backpackers Team

Snow TripThe snow is falling early in France and backpackers able to snap up pre-season offers should be able to score some great deals.

Snowtrip is a company that’s kind to a backpacker’s budget, offering budget accommodation and transport to the French Alps, 3 Valleys. And right now they’re offering backpackers some pretty good options.

For instance, for those on the uber-budget (if all you want to do is get to the Alps, and look for work there), Snowtrip offers places on a bus leaving from London on Friday 7th December and Friday 14th December. It’s a one way bus ride to Meribel, and it’ll cost you £30.00, which ain’t bad as buses to the Alps go.

If you have something a little more exciting in mind, Snowtrip has coach weekends on special:

Coach Departs Thursday 13th December – 3 days skiing £189 – Leaving from London, Thurrock, Maidstone or Folkestone on Thursday evening and returning early hours of Monday morning. 2 nights on the coach – luxury coach with TV, DVD player, leather reclining seats and hot/cold drinks machine. Free ski/board carriage. 2 nights in the hotel on a half board basis – breakfast and 3 course evening meal. 3 days skiing. (Also departing Thursday 20th December – 3 days skiing £199)

These specials aren’t loudly advertised on the site – so you’ll need to check the rates and prices and select the one that fits.
