Get Your Tickets Today For Edinburgh’s Hogmanay

Tickets for Edinburgh’s famous New Year’s bash, the Hogmanay Street Party have just gone on sale.
General street passes cost £5 (max 4 issued per person), or purchase a £20 Party Pack (includes branded merchandise as well as a street pass).
Hogmanay’s festivities take place from 8pm until midnight (31 December) in Edinburgh’s city centre.

hi, im trying to find a budget hostel for the 30 dec til the 02 of jan in Edinburgh but there is no availability for this dates or they try to sell me packages.
Its my first time going to the UK and i wanted to spend new years in this Festival, can you help me please? any advices?

You may have trouble getting rooms in a budget hostel. They’re like to be sold out, or, as you’ve mentioned, selling packages only. What I’d suggest is calling hostels directly, rather than looking online – as they often have other offers that don’t apply to their online availability.
You could also skip the hostel thing entirely on this occasion and try to find a guest house somewhere nearby. It will still mean premium rates, but might work out better than a package deal.
