Edinburgh Fringe Festival

Edinburgh is busy and bustling at the moment, with a population swollen to quadruple size because of all the activities going on there right now.

Wander along the Royal Mile (High Street) and you’re likely to see anything from contortionists, to stand up comedians, to lovely ladies sticking swords through their lips (we lie not, we saw it with our own eyes!).

It’s all part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which features shows of all shapes and sizes, free and paid-for and it’s quite the buzz.

For some great info on what it’s all about, and how to go about it, check out this page on About.com – it’s got some great stuff.
