The Wickerman Festival, a celebration of cult and off the wall music that climaxes in the burning of a giant willow and straw effigy!
(…hence the title ‘Scotland’s hottest music festival’)
Eclectic is the word and for lovers of contemporary music the Wickerman will once again prove that Scotland can lay it on anywhere – a heady brew of wickery shenanigans!
Okay – a giant burning man (okay, ‘effigy’), very definitely non-mainstream music and a good dose of ‘wickery shenanigans’ – how could anyone possibly resist?
If that sounds like just your cup of tea (plate of haggis?), and you can get to Scotland for the weekend of 20-21 July 2007, best you enter our ‘Wickerman Festival 2007 Competition‘. The prize: wickery shenanigans (man, I could say that all day), ummm, I mean, two tickets to this year’s Wickerman Festival.
All you have to do to enter is to name two of the artists performing at the Summerisle & Woodward Stages at Wickerman 2007.
