A Budget Airline Price War Has Begun: Backpackers, Get Ye To Your Internet Cafes And Snap Up The Best Fares!
Always good news for backpackers: European budget airline, Ryanair has launched a price war against rivals like EasyJet and WizzAir.
RyanAir has allocated 10 million seats on European-routes to be sold for between £10 and £20 (including taxes, for a change) – something shoestring travellers may want to cash in on!
These fares are generally limited to certain days of the week, especially during peak season, and have specific booking and travel periods. But, if you put a little bit of internet time into it, you might just find yourself some great deals.
Additionally, the Ireland-based airline has promised to pay double the difference of any fare found to be lower than their own:
“Should a passenger find a cheaper return fare on a qualifying route with another airline than the quoted Ryanair fare for that itinerary, then Ryanair will pay “double the differenceâ€? between the air fare paid to Ryanair and the lower fare quoted on another carrier.”
Be sure to check out the terms and conditions on that one, though, before you go for it.
