Win Tickets To Roskilde Festival 2007!
*UPDATE: COMPETITION CLOSED*
The Roskilde Festival is coming! Europe’s largest rock festival will be held this year from 5-8 July in the Danish town of Roskilde, featuring over 160 incredible bands and artists and a wealth of other exciting entertainments.
Björk, the Arctic Monkeys, the Killers, Basement Jaxx, My Chemical Romance, the Beastie Boys, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tiësto – these are just a smattering of the big names you’ll see at this year’s festival…
Tickets for this weekend festival normally cost 200 Euros each – perhaps a bit steep for the average shoestring traveller’s budget – but we busy bees have managed to score two free tickets for one of you rock-loving backpackers out there – that’s a whopping 400 Euros’ worth of free stuff!
To stand in line to win these two tickets you’ll need to be a subscriber of our monthly travel newsletter, ‘From The Road’. If you’re not already subscribed get yourself here and sign up (you can always unsubscribe afterwards – if you must).
Then, answer the questions below and send us your answers before 25 May 2007.
- True or False: Camping is free with a festival ticket? (hint)
- In which year was the Roskilde Festival first held? (hint)
- On what date does the official ‘warm up’ for the festival begin? (hint)
Good luck!
The fine print: this competition is for festival tickets only, and does not include any transport to or from the festival. Entries close 25 May 2007
