Brave New Traveler is ever an excellent source of useful travel tips and advice.

A recent guest column on BNT, written by Madeleine Somerville, covers an issue many backpackers will be considering before hitting the road: the pros and cons of working abroad.

In her article, Madeleine highlights two main options – applying for a work permit (the legal route) or working for cash under the table (not generally legal, but quite common for casual work) – and gives general tips for travellers planning to earn a little cash whilst on the road.

Useful info, and well written, too.
