You Can Talk The Talk But Can You Walk The New York City Walk?
So here’s a novel idea. Instead of hightailing it for foreign places, the exotic, the unknown, you could always spend some extra time discovering the ins and outs and roundabouts of your very own ‘hood.
And then create a website dedicated to it.
For two years Caleb Smith walked the streets of Manhatten – every last one of them, marking them off on a map as he went. Why? Because he figured that the real (non-touristy) secrets of Manhattan lie in the smaller east-west streets. So, he explored them all.
His website, New York City Walk, is the culmination of his many walks around Manhatten, with photographs he’s taken along the way.
Now that’s dedication.
