Meeting Venice: Everything You Needed To Know About The “Queen Of The Adriatic”

November 2nd, 2006 by Pia Taylor

Meeting Venice website

Meeting Venice is a cool website about Venice (often dubbed the ‘Queen of the Adriatic’), with regularly updated information on everything from how to get into, out of and around the beautiful city, to what to do once you’re there.

There’s also a fantastic photo gallery to get you in the mood for travelling, an up-to-date events calendar to make sure you don’t miss anything, and a blog with the latest news (unfortunately, the blog’s currently only in Italian, but if you’re curious you could always try Babelfish for a basic translation).

It’s easy to navigate, beautiful to look at, and interesting to read through, everything I like about a good travel website.
