Finding A Travel Buddy
Part of what makes travelling fun is having someone to share in your adventures.
It’s not as easy to laugh at misfortune if you’re the only one suffering, and finding a travel buddy can make for some entertaining travel stories.
Our busiest forum category is the one for ‘travel buddies’.
It’s there that you can find people who’re headed to at least some of the same places you are, and who’re looking for a like-minded travel buddy to travel even part of the way with them (shared accommodation is generally cheaper, too).
A cursory glance at the most recent travel buddy notices reveals requests for travel buddies in South America, New Zealand, and Australia (here too).
There are also folks headed to south-east Asia and China and one brave soul planning to travel overland all the way from Taiwan to Poland!
And, if you’re planning on visiting the Munich Oktoberfest this year, here’s someone who’ll be there too.
