Hand Luggage Only On RyanAir This Weekend

Hand Luggage Only on RyanAir

Flying RyanAir this weekend?

If so, you might want to pack light – the airline has warned that if planned strikes go ahead it will be forced to restrict all passengers’ luggage to a single small item of carry-on luggage.

This will apply to all Ryanair passengers ‘flying out of and into Stansted Airport this weekend between 5am on Saturday August 26 and 8am on Tuesday August 29.’

And, if you left the country with a larger piece of hand-luggage (larger than 45cm wide 35cm long and 16cm deep), tough luck, you won’t be allowed to bring it back to the UK:

‘(Your) only alternative, if the strikes go ahead, would be to buy a ticket to fly into an alternative UK airport or rebook a Ryanair flight which arrives at Stansted once the strikes have ended.’
