Travel Photo Of The Week - Not Exact (But Close Enough) Mileage Post, Alaska
Every now and then during your travels you’re likely to bump into signposts that make you stop and chuckle (and haul out your camera). Some will make you howl with laughter.
Some are intentionally funny, many are complete accidents (often via gross mistranslation) and with quite a few, you’ll never ever know.
It’s such a phenomenon that there’s an entire website dedicated to signs and the photographing of them.
Jennifer McFarlane, a member of our Flickr Travel Photo Pool, did a bit of her own signspotting by taking a photo of this chuckleworthy signpost in Alaska (see more of her photos here).
